Overview
Modern conservation operations rely on accurate location information and effective communication. GIS allows Eco-Rangers to collect and analyse geographical information, while two-way radios enable field teams to communicate quickly and safely during conservation activities.
During this practical module, learners will complete an integrated case study consisting of three practical tasks that simulate real conservation operations involving species tracking, habitat mapping and operational communication.

Practical Activity

Practical Activity
Using the two-way radio:
