The module focuses on: responsive caregiving, emotional security, mealtime routines, hygiene practices, sleep routines, positive behaviour management, learning through interaction and play, and developmentally appropriate caregiving practices. In addition, learners will explore: attachment needs, separation anxiety, nutritional requirements, safe physical care practices, self-care and self-reflection, distress and abuse recognition, social support services, emergency assistance services, and universal precautions within caregiving environments.
